Racer's Edge Driver Coaching
We are very proud to announce the availability of trackside driver coaching from Racer's Edge. Do you have all the right equipment and still find yourself running mid-pack race after race? It turns out there's a lot more to going fast than just having the right equipment.
While you're busy updating all the parts on your car, it may also be a good idea to have somebody check the torque on that nut behind the wheel, if you know what we mean!
Racer's Edge has partnered with Owen Trinkler to provide professional one-on-one coaching to help you get the most out of your equipment.
Own, an instructor at the Porsche Sport Driving School and a second generation driver, has been racing since the tender age of ten. He is now a proven winner with over 19 years of racing experience ranging from Formula cars to Sports cars and even NASCAR Supertrucks.
One of his many of accomplishments includes being chosen out of hundreds to be one of the twenty-five young drivers in the USA to participate in the distinguished Team Green's Indy Car Academy Scholarship in 1996. In 1997, at the age of twenty, Trinkler finished in the top ten in class in the prestigious Rolex 24 hours @ Daytona and the 12 hours at Sebring. With his return to road racing in the American Le Mans Series in 2001, he competed with a Chevrolet Corvette in LMGT at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Trinkler captured victories in 2002 and 2003 in the Rolex Sportscar Series and the Grand-Am Cup Series. Currently, he drives for the Power Racing Team in the Grand-Am Cup Series. Throughout his many years of racing and instructor experience, he brings a tremendous amount of knowledge along with youth and enthusiasm. Owen's passion for service and excellence is proven on and off the track. He is a proud member of Big Brothers Big Sisters and has been a mentor for over 3 years.
